[glow=blue,2,300]A large stone walkway suspended above crystal clear waters stretches out before you. There are ladders suspended above the water to each side of the walkway. But how do you reach them? Much of this room is built as if the person who used it could walk on water. It is decorated with ornate wall carvings and gold-gilding. As long as you do not damage the water nymph statue in the middle, fighting is allowed. [/glow]

A body garbed in white floated to the surface, one that the gender had to be female since the waters caused cloth to cling to somewhat ample curves. Though truth be told when the clothes were dry one might have just barely noticed them at all. She had geen hair like fresh leaves that framed a youthful face bloomed in vitality which cuurently slept dormantly. Luckily this person had risen face up from the depths of the crystal clear waters. In fact anyone who had been looking into the water would have seen her corporeal approach. Or even more amazing was the mystical and instantaneeous appearance at the bottom only moments ago.
ONLY MOMENTS AGO. . .
Deep within pristine waters at the very bottom, little flecks of sparkling green began to occurr in a strange phenomenon. One by one they appeared, at first. Very shortly more began to appear at a rapid yet lethargic pace, many coming into being but they formed slowly. Glows of all sorts began to emminate from the green flecks which some might say resembled pollen. It was almost unbelievable as they slowly drifted toward a central point. . . around a pebble-type object which had gone unnotied until now. Light gathered into an increasingly bright display as the several flecks of light unified in a miraculous event of pure creation and life-force. After it had all faded. . . the body of a young woman was floating under water garbed in white robes fitting of a mage with strange green symbols upon it.

. . .JUST MOMENTS LATER. . .
Now at the surface she came to life, yet did not cough despite the fact there had to be some type of water in her lungs. How much stranger could it get? Seeming to breathe just fine, it was almost like watching someone wake up after a good night's rest. Wriggling around in the crystal clear waters like an infant child, she then seemed to get a hold of herself entirely. At that moment she simply got up. . .just stood up atop the water's surface as though it were nothing at all.
Moving toward the stone walkway at a somewhat disoriented pace, she stopped once on the solid surface to kneel down. It looked as though she were concentrating on something. Then the water which drenched her lothing & body seemed to start drying up. Or rather get absorbed by something feeding upon the pure water. . .soon leaving her completely dry. As that came to an end the rather young looking woman rose up from her kneeling position.
What she had not realized before was that she had done so directly in front of the Water Nymph statue. Upon noticing this the girl put on a very stern & mature face before making a slight bow of respect to the work of art. Moving even closer to it she reached into one of her sleeves to pull out some beautiful white magnolia flowers, which were then placed at the feet of the Water Nymph in some innocent offering. She then turned to leave, walking a few steps before suddenly turning her upper torso to 'say farewell' to the statue with a heart-warming smile and an anime-style peace sign.

"Vielen Dank..." came a soft reply from the water nymph statue as the girl flashed her a smile.
Whether or not the statue was meant to speak was unknown. Not many people came here to pay their respects nowadays anyway...since not many even knew it existed. Perhaps it was a place accessable to only those with a *certain something* in their hearts. Like a prince waking up a sleeping princess with his kiss.
But then again, considering where they were...
Was the statue really supposed to be speaking German?

"Hm?"
Her expression went from pleasant to slightly puzzled & even a bit curious like a small child. It made her wonder if the statue were alive or something. Wouldn't that be something! A few steps were taken toward the old work of art, following the words of a language she had not known at all. Perhaps someone she could not see was inside this place with her. . .though the girl seemed to not consider that as she got closer.
"You liked the flowers?"
She asked the statue with a slightly hopeful look in her eyes.

"Das kommt darauf an..." came another soft reply after a moment's pause. "That depends..." An echo quietly following the words the statue spoke in a language she could understand.
"Wurden sie rein gegeben?" "Were they purely given?"
The statue seemed to be questioning the girl's purity. Or at least the intentions behind the offering. Perhaps the nymph had something to give to the girl if that were the case...power or wisdom to impart? A secret?

"Of course!"
She said kindly, seeming to still believe the statue was the presence speaking to her from the way it looked. Her body shifted as the peace-sgn had fallen back to her side as a nomal hand a few moments ago. Now she stood in a relatively straight posture similar to that of a nun. As for the German words she started to slightly wonder if that were the true language of the Gods. Not a single thread of knowledge was held by her of what language belonged to which culture. This might lead to a reverence of the German people in the future if no one convinced her otherwise.
"How long have you been here?"
The question would come if the statue did not impart any wisdom or grant mystical powers.

"How long?" the voice questioned before answering. "A very long time..."
"But not long enough to have seen someone like you arrive in such a fashion...It makes you very interesting."

"I. . .I only remember waking up here. Do you know me? Are you- were you my mother or something before you were a statue?"
The girl asked innocently while wondering just what exactly was going on here in this chamber she could not remember. Maybe this was her home and she had hit her head on a hard object or something. Or perhaps she had been near death and the statue brought her here. Did the shadow create her? Being the daughter of a Water Nymph long dead. . . that would be an interesting heritage. Yet that brought up the question of who her father might be if she actually had one.
For the girl with green hair, she did not seem to remember walking on water.

"I don't know you." the statue answered truthfully. "I only witnessed what happened." The nymph left her answer to hang in the air, not bothering to clarify.

"Oh, okay then. Do you. . . want me to leave or something? This place looks like a type of shrine."
She replied after a pause that lasted a few seconds, deciding what to do next. Nothing had given her any solid information on anything usefl. Heck she didn't even know the name of this mystical statue she was talking to right now! But then she ran the statue's words over in her head again. Just what exactly had it seen? This thought sparked her curiosity once more as she maintained a posture similar to that of a nun while dressed like a White Mage.
"Wait um, wh-what exactly did you see?"

"If you are here...then perhaps you have some purpose here."
Being a statue, the nymph didn't move. One had to wonder how the voice was even being generated. But as with all things mystical, the best part of it was the unknown. Behind The Scenes info just ruins the magic.
"Your birth." was her final answer.

Needless to say at the last reply her eyes went wide in surprise and shock. She had actually been born in this shrine to some nymph she didn't even know? How strange of all things! But that made her wonder indeed if she had some type of purpose within this place. This girl had knowledge of some things. . .knew how to speak and stand without any instruction. But none of that occured to her, thinking it natural for everyone to be brought into the world this way.
What else did she know?
Who am I. . .
"Who are you?"

The statue was silent. Had whatever mysterious power that allowed it to speak run out? Had it even been speaking at all? Had the girl been imagining it all along?
"Mein name ist...Helga Von Volgelweid." the statue began...but something was obviously different. The voice had changed from a soft matronly breath to something cold, hard and intimidating. Taunting, with a thick germanic accent.
The source of the voice stepped out then from behind the nymph statue. Her pale iris were partly shadowed by her thick black lashes, making her eye color seem darker than it was but nonetheless piercing. Her thin, painted lips were curved in the sly smile of a predator.
Her heels clicked as she slowly walked until she was in full view and able to look down at the girl. She bowed then, dipping her head as she bent one knee, a hand sweeping up to her thin waist.
"Eis Hexe of the Rosencreutz Orden...presents herself."

The girl wasn't quite sure how to respond to everything that had occured right in front of her within the last thirty seconds. Changes in the voice to that of an icy tone that intimidated her own gentle nature made the girl don a somewhat worried expression. Dangerous intentions seemed to be flowing in the air now, making it a bit colder in the room and uncomfortable for the green-haired girl. If only there was some more sunlight inside the chamber
"Well I'm. . .I present myself as Samantha."
She replied with a bit of hesitation in her voice while trying to duplicate the other as a compliment in a nice way, as if she weren't sure that was her true name. Understandably enough she only went off instinct since she had been 'born' less than an entire hour ago. Not a single memory of a time before the chamber was within the girl's mind. With how strangely threatened she felt now, the girl could only hope to try & make polite conversation. Killer women with weird outfits that made her look like a killer woman in the first place inspired her to want to get along so that she could live.
After all who wanted to die on their birthday?!
"So. . . what's the Rosencreutz Orden? Is it a club?"
