"A pleasure, Samantha." the woman said as her bow went a little further. Her voice was rich and smooth, something that didn't really match her sharp features. But perhaps that was part of what made her so enchanting...when she chose to be. After all, Eis Hexe had managed to even charm a Cardinal before...what other member of the Orden could boast that?
She smiled. "It is...We're a very important club in the world...but we prefer to keep our work out of the public eye. We're seeking to change the world for the better. To renew it...would you like to join?"
The woman straightened up, her posture as firm as a commander's. "I'm always looking for...help."

"Is it. . .well is it hard? Because I don't really know all that much."
Moments ago she had interpreted evil intent whereas now the obviously older woman. The girl had to wonder just how safe this woman was to be around, but at the sametime she had a feeling it would be hard to leave. A female much stronger than herself in some unseen way stood close-by. Perhaps the worst change there might be for her was in the rather strange dress code. It seemed as though she came from a group that liked wearing so miuch over her body.

The woman's painted lips pursed ever so slightly as a nail was pressed to her cheek. She gave her head a small shake. "Mmm...no...you only have to work for the renewal of the world. But we do have our methods, of course...certain guidelines that we go by. Our...leader is quite the heroic man. Very idealistic. Very intelligent. It's an honor to serve under him."
A very faint glint of pearly teeth escaped through her dark lips. "It would prepare you well for your life ahead..."

" I mean I don't even know if anyone else in your club might want me there. Does your leader have to meet me first or something? Is that ok? Because well I. . .I don't even know of how much use I could be or if I can even do anything really. Or did you see me do something while I was. . ."
The sentence drifted off as she recollected that the elder woman had witnessed her birth. It was a strange feeling that, perhaps made her overlook a few obvious things. Eis Hexe was the first person she had met in her entire lifetime. A connection like that made a difference to this young girl whose personality was still trying to figure out how exactly to form. Such an Innocent Devil was in the hands of someone who might not have entirely good intentions for her future. Of course, that too depended upon point of view and whether or not anyone else of the Orden even wanted her around. By the tone of her voice it was obvious the girl felt a bit nervous about how fast all of this was going.

"I wouldn't worry about that." the woman reassured as she swept a hand through the air before it moved back to her face, one finger twirling a lock of hair around it. "I'm what you would call...a senior member. Rarely anyone gives me trouble. They all trust my decisions..."
The woman continued to smile, although her eyes drifted closed. Her hand moved to the pale, exposed skin of her chest, coming to rest over where her heart ought to be. "I know it may sound strange to you...but I've never witnessed such a birth before. Or any for that matter...being there for it, I almost feel as if I should...take care of you somehow. Perhaps it was fate that placed me here, so that I could show you the ways of the world..."

A glimmer of innocent trust shone in her eyes at such kind words coming from what instinct said was such a dangerous person. Maybe this woman was just dangerous to those she did not like and would treat her much better. Others that fit such a description existed, one being a man who had the scent of blood and death follow him yet held within a heart that could love. It was the naive hope of someone less than an hour old which prevented any attempt to escape as she smiled at Helga.
"You. . .you'd really do that for me?"

What would make the girl believe that the woman was dangerous in the first place? After all, was it not she who had given life to the nymph statue? If it truly were a symbol of the gods, then if she were wicked, wouldn't she have been struck down? Perhaps beneath that presence that would have suited a glacier rather than a woman, a kind heart really did exist. If she were capable of making a man of the Lord love her, then what couldn't she do?
Eis Hexe smiled, her painted lips pressing into a thin curve. "I would..." she said simply, stepping down then from her spot at the base of the statue. Only one thing was wrong about that.
There wasn't any walkway beneath the statue, only water.
It was then that perhaps a glimmer of what the woman really was, was revealed.
Rather than a splash, a click sounded, followed by a faint crackle. The moment the tip of her boot had touched the surface of the water, ice crystals sprang up in place, suspending her on the surface. She too, could walk on water...but just in a different way.

Helga's confirming words filled leaf green or rather, jade green eyes with wonderment. It made her let out a loud yell of celebration. Samantha acted as though she couldn't wait to go to her new 'home' with this older woman. But then she witnessed the ice forming upon the water's surface. . .something she didn't understand.
The young girl watched this in slight amazment, but also appeared a bit frightened by the whole ordeal. Samantha had no knowledge of her own ability to walk on water or any other such thing. It would have to be learned from scratch, or rather taught to her by someone with expierence. But regardless to witness supernatural phenomenon like that without realizing she had been born supernaturally frightened her a bit. Just a few steps backward unknowingly took her off of the walkway, back onto the water where she stood perfectly normal on the surface.
At hearing the splashes below her feet she looked down to realize she was STANDING ON THE WATER! Realizing such a phenomenon made her yelp in a startled manner before a lone thought hit her like a speedboat. Both her and this woman were the same~! Just in a few elementally different ways. . .though she tossed that aside after a few moments of silence as a proud smile covered her youthful face.
Running along the water effortlessly the Green-haired girl headed straight for Helga, most likely in search of a hug from her new friend. Every shred of suspicion about dangerous auras seemed to have been thrown out the window. And caregiver. . .possibly even tutor. But would Eis Hexe return such innocent affections?

The ice witch's chin tilted down in a knowing gesture when the girl made the connection in her mind. The woman opened her arms, allowing the girl to hug her freely. It was a moment before a long-nailed hand came to rest on top of the girl's hair.
It was probably then that one thing would become clear. Undeniably clear.
The woman was cold. As cold as the ice she stood on. As cold as a corpse might become. Not to say that she was as chilly as Jack Frost but noticebly so.
She looked alive enough though and it really didn't seem to bother her. It would probably just draw some sort of connection in the young girl's mind. Eis Hexe was just as different as she was.

Almost immdiately after embracing the woman, it was found out exactly why the water had frozen upon contact. Freezing temperature started coursing through her body, proving her to be more senstive than most to temperature. Soon enough she had decided to back out of the hug with teeth lightly chattering.
They were the same, but yet fundamentally different in another matter as the girl eventually realized while staring curiously at her caregiver. But if this woman controlled ice. . . then what kind of power did she herself possess? Varius scenarios entered her mind, one of them involving even that if a water or other were used. Demonic power that was untapped likely laid somewhere deep within.

A quiet laugh escaped the woman as the girl backed away nearly shivering. In truth it had been a while since Eis had ventured so far south. Normally her base was in the northern regions where no one would comment on heavy clothing or why her skin was so chilled all the time.
"Well, then." she said after a moment, as if waiting for the girl to voice her opinion on something. Surely she was absolutely brimming with questions...

"If. . .if I'm magic like you are, can you teach me to do things? Do I get to live with you? Or is your leader going to make me stay somewhere? Should. . .should I be worried about anyone in your club?"
Samantha asked all of this as if almost on cue from the older woman's incinuation. And truth be told she really did want to know all of it. This woman had said she would take care of her, which meant likely joining the club of which she was currently a member. Surely it was not a place with normal people if it had someone like Helga. Others of the Orden must've had all kinds of fantastic powers that this girl knew nothing about at all.

"Oh," she replied nonchalantly, "You let me worry about that." The right corner of her painted lips curled up once more. "There is a certain amount of...tension, between the members, but they are few, while we, the right cause, are many."
"Our devotion to the renewal of the world is what unites us. Most of the time we...leave each other be."

"Oh. . .ok."
The girl said after deciding she sort of understood what the woman meant, though in truth she had absolutely no idea at all. Little did this girl know there had been death's amongst the Orden due to a certain member. But none of that concerned her at all yet, which left the girl's mind slowly returning to ease. After a few more moments of trying to think up other questions she found hers had all been answered. Wearing a smile that perfectly suited her nature, the Innocent Devil spoke to Eis Hexe once more.
"Well. . . can we go now? I want to gome with you now!"

Eis raised a brow, a faint shadow of an odd expression slithering through the depths of her eyes.
"Why not?"
The ice witch reached out then, her clawed fingers grasping hold of the girl and pulling her close. The crystals suspending the woman spread out then, a loud cracking sound filling the air as the cold pressed in. The world outside became faceted as crystals jutted up around them like a wall. The world went dark and the ground underfoot dropped away.
