"No, they found mine in a jar labeled Sex--eeeeh!?"
Either Legion's train of thought had been interrupted by something COMPLETELY SHOCKING or he had just suffered a minor stroke.
The Auto's mouth opened as he took in the terrible vision before him, his expression saying nothing short of 'Oh GodOhGodOhGod!' It would be an interesting test though to see what sort of effect the hornet's venom would have on Methuselah flesh.
At any rate, the Auto moved it before he lost it. He called back the spear and whipped it around, thrusting it forward. A gust of wind swirled through the cave as if generated by the force of the movement itself. Hopefully it would be enough to knock back the hornets until he could think of something else. He REALLY didn't want to get stung! Those things looked beyond wicked!

"That's a cruel joke to play. . ."
He said with a bitter grin while getting up, knowing that his clothing was slowly being covered in nasty Harpy bits. Just disgusting if nothing else. If there was any other reason he did not show it, rising up to his feet entirely while turning off the shield. The glow had faded from his eyes now, leaving only just-above normal vitality in them. Something about him seemed slightly more determined now that the other had actually made a successful hit.
Meanwhile the hornets responded with an unnerving intelligence to the winds created by Legion's spear. It gave off the impression someone might be guiding them in some strange manner that went unseen. For what they had done was fly to the cavern walls, clinging to it with all their strength. Some were blown away but eighty or so remained, crawling along the walls like a semi-golden army.
". . .on someone with your half-dead looks."

"Better to be half-dead than half-baked like you, Queenie!" he called back, his grey eyes roaming the walls of the surrounding cave. It reminded him of one of those cage fights...except in this case it was a wall of deadly stingers you had to deal with instead of just mesh...
He shuddered, rolling his shoulder as he called the Spear back once more, the stave retracting until it was near the size of a club rather than a long-range weapon. A smirk of satisfaction tilted into place when he noticed his opponent was dirty as well. In fact he was almost more than happy it happened for some odd reason.
Legion sighed in a mocking manner, shaking his head. "Ah, how un-fair of you too. Having all your little bee buddies lurking around while I went and ATE my only buddy so that this fight would be clean!"
Normally, the dead didn't talk. But now they were telling people how to behave.
"But no matter. Bring it. You and your little honey harlots if you really think you need 'em!"

"A Half-baked Queenie, eh? I can almost hear your manacured claws scratching the walls for new material prin-cess. Such desperation. . ."
The Hornet- Keeper looked rather disinterested as he weather the playground insults that were being spewed back at him. Mixed in with his minions were a few of the bunch which had fed upon Harpy flesh earlier, they looked just a tad stronger than the rest. It must have proved an old addage to be just a little bit true.
"And Un-fair?! This fight didn't get dirty until you kicked me into the muck."
Cobier almost laughed out the words as he stood up, brushing off a few bits of nasty-ness. He started striding calmly toward his oppnent, rolling his right shoulder a bit. While flexing his left hand the next words came. Behind them dwelt some of his self-confidence that had never truly gone away from his attitude. With the harlot-reference, he might actually start calling himself a pimp one of these days. The clothes certainly helped accentuate that persona.
"But I didn't call them here to fight you, they're just here for the leftovers."
His stride broke into a run, one that soon chose to defy the very laws of physics. Moving swiftly along the cavern floor he had then taken a complete loop as it were to arrive on the very ceiling itself. Still summoning no weapon he came at the Auto-Jager. As this all went on the Hornets continued to close in along the walls toward Legion's present location with a forboding hum that came from never-stilling wings. But they remained on the walls, as if just waiting for a chance.

The Auto scoffed as he smirked at Cobier. "Well let's just see whose leftovers they'll be eating exactly..."
The moment Cobier moved, Legion charged forward, his arm already drawing back to ready his spear. If anything, he fought to stay ahead, to keep from being pushed into the buzzing wall of pain. This time though, instead of thrusting the shortened spear forward Legion swept it in an arc in front of him, using the tip as a sort of short blade.

"Depends on how well you're served."
Those words escaped his lips just as he saw the spear swept toward him in a dangerous arc from his own strange point of view. Looking at the world upside-down qualified as abnormal in quite a few cases. As the swipe closed in he raised the arm which had summoned the Hive-shield so far, but did not activate it. Right as it would make contact Cobier finally activated his only dependable defense.
Physics intervened, as two objects could not occupy the same space.
Violent force shoved away the spear as his shield remained in use for the time being. During what would likely be a brief period of disoreintation for his opponent, the Hornet-Keeper closed in fast. Blindsighting Legion with the blunt force of his energy sheild was the intent behind a backhand-type move aimed for the upper body. Hornets continued to close in as their respective positions changed once more.

Legion's arm was violently knocked back, the sound of something painfully ripping coming from the muscles in his shoulder as he most likely tried to fight back the momentum from the clash. A yell of pain came from the Auto, pain that he should not have even felt. The following blow sent him slamming into the ground where he lay face down and did not move.
Had something gone wrong on the Methuselah's end? Perhaps the bee had bumbled his way into victory!

More like the Hornet had given Legion the sting of defeat!
As he watched his opponent head face first into a nasty cavern floor, Cobier felt he might be close to true success. Soon he could leave with more than just enhanced weaponry. Maybe he would even take the spear with him as a trophy that would bring him victory in the future against floss-boy. First came ensuring that death came painfully for this foe. Cobier allowed himself a nice smile which revealed the reason he would be eternally single:
He had stingers for teeth.
Lunging in for the kill he bared his terrifying 'fangs', each one with the same venom that nature granted to his compatriots. A dentist's worst nightmare aside from some type of shark mutant or a Rapper. One bite would surely help eat away at what remained of what was already just a walking corpse.

From the somewhat twisted way Legion had landed it looked pretty obvious that he was seriously hurt. His wounded arm was tucked under his body at an odd angle which would prevent him from making any sudden moves to roll out of the way.
But maybe that was ok. In fact, it was almost perfect.
The Auto-Jäger's eyes remained shut, not an iota of his form moving until he could almost hear the breathing of the hungry bee above him. Well, he wasn't about to become royal jelly anytime soon!
It was then that just before stingers stung could close in a red blossom opened on Legion's back, but not of the pollen-dropping kind. Rather, it was a spray of blood as the Spear tore through the chest of Legion from where it lay under his body. It was as if the weapon moved without any regard for it's current master. Perhaps it really did have a mind of it's own and believed that self-sacrifice was always an option.
The jagged end of the spear tore from Legion's body, streaking into the air toward Cobier's chest just moments before jaws of any kind could close on the Auto's undead flesh. Maybe just enough moments for it to be unavoidable. Right now though the Auto himself couldn't even tell, so complete was his surprise as his body seemed to move on it's own.

For the first time his arrogant expression broke away in a look of surprise. His opponent was certainly determined to take one or both of them out if it meant victory. Unfortunately Cobier had some dire last moment sense in his mind.
An arm which bore the Hive shield shot out in front of the Horrornet, but only half-succeeded in any type of protection. Rather than go through the chest, violet eyes widened in pain as the spear pierced his lower left side. It went straight through the kidney. Sheer agony tore from him in a cry with the same emotion. But if they wanted to fight for every last moment, Cobier was glad to oblige them.
Tearing himself away in reverse not only ruined the clothes he wore but any muscles left along with leaving him a ruptured kidney. Blood was flowing freely from the wound, down the spear onto the Auto-Jager. Nerve endings were torn away to stop their screaming as new ones learned their intense pain that might drive some to madness. His shield was now completely gone, but the force to re-direct the spear meant Legion's insides had likely been re-aaranged a bit as a result. If he actually had any organs at this point.
Driven into attack-mode by the scent of their compatriot's lifeblood, Hornets which had crawled along the wall now flew at maddening speed. They swarmed over the body of Legion , stinging repediately until they succeeded in causing his demise. A hundred or so of them were attacking, only a fraction of the swarm which existed outside of the Harpy caverns.

Oh, the Marionettenspieler had left organs in his Autos. Just enough for the jarring impact to be felt, a stain of crimson quickly forming on the ground as it was forcefully expelled by Legion's mouth. His own wide eyes stared in surprise at the ground as he tried to move, his body unwilling to co-operate, the only sign that he was still alive a weak scrabbling at the rocks with his unwounded hand. A feeling of anger and helplessness welled up inside him. Was his creator truly leaving him here to die? He still had so much potential! So much left to give!
"Failure." a boyish voice sighed in his mind as his already dim eyes grew blank.
As the Auto has bees inflicted upon him, small patches of darkness began to open up beneath him, or more specifically under the large wound in his torso. That was where the Harpy stones had been hidden after all. Successfully retrieving those via a shadow hand tearing out the Methuselah's stomach, the portal closed.
With no more need to live, the Auto's body began to disintegrate, his flesh drying and falling from his bones like a lizard that had been exposed to salt.

Cobier had been severely wounded, his violet eyes shutting as he staggered backward against the cavern wall. He grunted in pain as his body slumped against the hard rocky surface for some semblance of support. Not even a moment of true victory entered his mind as it started to try shutting down. Even his mouth had been left hanging open. Bloodloss on a severe level often helped creatures blackout whether they were human or not.
While likely unconcious as he continued to bleed, the Hornets left Legion's body to dust. They did nothing to alert their big-brother to a shadowy hand. Instead the entire swarm entered the cave, each one landing upon the gore-covered floor. Remains were chewed up as though for nourishment before several of the monstrous looking insects began to crawl all over the humanoid body. One could just notice the torrent of about twelve crawling inside the mouth before continuing further on inside.
Meanwhile the majority of others gathered outside of the fallen leader. Since so much blood had left him, not much resistance was given to their task at hand. If one chose to look at it in a certain way, this was the way such un-cute creatures showed affection or that they even cared at all for anyone. Especially since this was no Queen. Bit by bit they regurgitated Harpy gore onto the wound, gradually working to seal it up with a liquid which quickly turned to a solid. Time would pass by as the flesh underneath slowly knit itself together.
However something sped it up.
Internally, a group of hornets had made their way inside Cobier's internal organs. They worked at the stomach-turning task of repairing the punctured kidney. Soon enough a hive-bandage existed over that wound as well. And at that point, nature was super-ceeded by the supernatural. Honey seeped out from the miniature honeycombs placed outside & inside his body that bore a secret elixer within. This worked to speed up the healing process as those internal Hornets scrambled to leave their 'big brother' before he awoke.
Cobier awoke with a scratchy throat, which led to him coughing rather hard. As a result around twenty or so Hornets came flying out of his opened mouth. Such a sight would make anyone feel as though they existed within a terrible nightmare. Especially if they expierenced it from the Horrornet's point of view. But he only started to slowly stand up after the last miniature flying monster left his mouth.
Violet eyes opened as his ears registered the sound of something relatively hard crumbling apart. The hive-bandages which had saved his life fell to the floor like used tissues that just missed the trash bag. All around him the sound of buzzng, humming wings became a reality. Perhaps to him that sound made him feel at home while it filled made many human beings uneasy with a dreading anticipation.
Walking toward the remains of Legion he yanked the spear out, not showing an ounce of remorse for the fallen foe. Examining the weapon for a few moments he then strode off toward the cavern enterance. But what might put terror into the heart of any unseen presence watching him leave victorious. . .
. . .the pleased smile on his face.
