[glow=purple,2,300]The Stone Platform used to only be a peaceful field covered in wild flowers, thought to be a sacred place. But, one day a tragic lover discovered the secret of the Platform. Using the ley lines beneath it, and spells from an ancient book, he created a great ship; from which he would bring about the destruction of the world. Now, the Stone Platform of Asuka is a Shrine to the God of Destruction. Giant, rune covered stone pillars stretch jaggedy into the sky, aligned in the shape of a wheel. You can feel malevolent forces at work here, and twisted monsters roam the area. Strangely, the flowers still remain and even flourish here. Fighting is Allowed. [/glow]

The Land of the Rising Sun...a nickname for the land where those who had not seen the rays of the sun in ages now dwelt. At least for the majority anyway. The Stone Platform was a rather fitting place though. The red flowers that bloomed in a thick carpet surrounding the stone pillars suited the Master of the domain as well. The blossoms held the same deep-crimson color of his eyes when he slipped into his true form. The clustered amaryllis seemed to all bow their heads and weep when the morning came, the dew forming their tears that were renewed day after day.
The story which surrounded its origins were also ironic. Except for that the current Master of Asuka was not a heartbroken lover, but rather a heartbroken brother. An elder brother who only wished to fulfill the wish of his younger sibling...
Where exactly in the vicinity of the Stone Platform their headquarters was located was unclear at the moment, but it was somewhere close...It didn't really matter anyway, since they were inside it already.
Just as a sense of vertigo began to set in, solid footing came rushing up to meet the little girl-devil's feet, the sense of ice-cold fading into a mere chill. The darkness had yet to give way yet.
"Are you alright?" a familiar female voice asked.

It had been so sudden, so cold and frosty. . .all of it had off-set the green-haired girl into a sense of vertigo & made her want to just fall. Never before had the girl been transported in such a fashion. So far in her life she had never ridden in a car, on boat, on a plane, or even in a train. The girl had only once been there and it was her first time here or anywhere. With her eyes still closed the girl clung in the direction from which she had heard Helga's voice come from until the sensation passed.
"Warn me next time!"
Samantha's words were more like a loud whisper of a request than any actual yelling. The girl would likely never yell at her new friend. Of course, the coldness of her caregiver's body helped speed up her recovery time from the veritgo. Very few moments had passed after the clinging before Eis Hexe was released from the grip of a slightly disoriented young woman. A small blush appeared on her face at having behaved in such a way.
Why? In a nutshell, the girl was worried that someone that was a member of the club would see her and think it was unfit to behave in such a way. The girl didn't want to be disqualified for not being used to a strange spell she'd never expierenced before!
Finally she opened her eyes to look around, taking in her surroundings. . .

The darkness still had not given way, rewarding the girl with a view of nothing. But there was obviously something afoot in the way that something rustled nearby.
"Warn you of what?" a quiet voice inquired.
The sound of heels clicking across a hard floor echoed as Eis made her way toward something, leaving the girl standing where she was. Something else clicked that wasn't a heel, meaning it was likely a switch as the room was instantly flooded with harsh artificial light.
Someone audibly grimaced from nearby as Eis hmph'd under her breath. "And I hoped we would be left in peace..."
The source of the second voice was seated at a table not too far away. The room looked like a break room...a rather strange and cheap-looking place for it to be located in the headquarters of the most dangerous group since...well, since a while, anyway. It was probably someone's inside joke.
Someone with a similiar, albiet much more masculine version of Eis Hexe's uniform was still in the process of straightening up in his seat. He held a hand in front of his face, his eyes shut tightly against the sudden illumination. He grumbled something under his breath, his glaring eyes blinking rapidly before they noticed the sudden strange addition to his surroundings...
His hand lowered as his soft brown eyes locked with the young girl's. His curly brunette hair was slightly messy and looked much more similiar to bed-head than any style done on purpose. The red mark on his right cheek also made it even more obvious that he was in the middle of a secret nap.
"Warn you against staying out when you're not supposed to, yes?" Eis replied to the grumbles behind her back.

While she was left alone in the dark, the young girl merely stood there twidling her thumbs in the dark. If she knew about the boogeyman, no doubt this would be a time to fear hiim the most. A place most appropraite to think he would exist, if she understood what was going on right now. But of course the girl was absolutely clueless to the occupations and talents of those she would be introduced to today. . .on her birthday no less.
". . .Um, hi! Your friend said I could join your club!"
The girl replied t the unknown male with a bit of apprehensive friendliness, unsure if he was someone she should avoid. But she shot him a nervous smile nonetheless. Samantha took in the fact that this man was wearing the same clothes as Helga, making her wonder a rather important something. Walking right up to Eis Hexe, standing about three or so feet away she asked in a hushed tone so as not to disturb the man:
"Do. . .do I have to get a uniform like you guys if I'm allowed to join? I. . .I'm afraid I don't have any idea as to where I would find one. . ."
Her eyes cast down shyly at the floor then.

The man didn't reply to her exclamation but merely looked away, his hand still covering half his face. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the table.
Eis turned to face the girl, "Don't worry about it. We'll get you something soon. You can't traipse around in your nightgown all the time afterall. Someone may take advantage of it..."
The man coughed then. "What did you bring home this time, Helga? And no proper introductions this time? Do you not trust me anymore?"
His hands were in his lap, one leg crossed over the other as he sat near the edge of his chair, watching the pair. Fingers had been combed through his hair to brush aside the lumpy parts. The unruly curls still made him look a bit eccentric, but his face was handsome and his eyes held an almost soft kindness. The faint dark circles beneath them though made him look weary though, almost making him look like some sort of 'tortured musician'. Which he was, really.
His voice was soft and deep, his accent slightly thick. He gazed at the girl again, taking time to study her appearance more thoroughly. "Welcome to the...club." he said, nodding slightly.

"Thank you!"
She said cheerfully, but not overly in a cheerleader kind of way. More like someone that felt glad that they could make friends with such interesting looking people. And indeed this rather 'tortured musician' had a great appeal to her, more than the man likely knew. For he was the first actual boy she had met in her entire life. Did that mean she would look upon him as a father, a brother, a friend, or something more? Perhaps maybe even all of them. But only time would tell, not to mention how he treated her in comparison to any othr males she met during her introduction to the various club members.
"I'm Samantha. What's your name?"

The man stood then, drawing smoothly to his feet despite his slightly tousled appearance. He strode up to the girl, stopping when he was a short distance away. He leaned at the waist, one arm behind him as he took a short bow.
"My name is Balthasaar von Neumann...otherwise known as Basilisk."
He reached out a hand then, palm up, and waited for her to take it. Although he wore gloves like the rest of the RKO, his were short and ended at his wrist and had an odd design with an open section on the palm.

Slowly her hand extended outward to the man that seemed to be waiting for her. On her first time meeting this man she did not want to come off as rude or cold! With no offense to Helga intended of course, but this man with such a strange name at least seemed to be actually trying to be kind. It made her smile softly, but then don a curious expression as to what he wanted her hand for in the first place.
"Which name should I call you. . .?"
The question was justified in many respects.

Once the hand was in his, which unlike Helga's, actually possessed some warmth, he carefully leaned down and pressed his lips to it before releasing it.
"Either would do...but Basilisk may be easier...Considering."
As for Helga herself she seemed to be busy searching for something. Her long painted index finger tapping idly on her likewise painted lips as her eyes slipped over the various labels attached to the wall of small lockers in front of her.

"Basilisk sounds interesting. What does it mean?"
Her eyes did not widen nor did she hentai blushie, only think what he did was strange. She had not been raised or conditioned to know what a kiss meant at all. But whatever custom it was, at least he was nice about it. Such a thing would have been made more humorous if she responded by patting him on the head. Eventully her hand retracted from his grasp as she wondered what Hekga was tup to now. Eis Hexe would find herself being followed by Samantha. The Green-haired girl wanted to know what was going on around her.

"Simply put...serpent." Just like everyone else in the Orden, Balthasaar had a codename. Of course there was more to it, but why complicate things? He did not expect the girl to blush or turn into putty...but he seemed to know something, or at least sense something about her. It was rare for the conductor to express interest in anyone he only just met. One had to wonder what made her so special. Unless he was only trying to rid himself of his boredom.
Helga's heels clicked a little loudly as she came to a sudden stop in front of a particular locker. The label on it was scrawled in a different language, the characters barely looking like letters rather than fluid shapes. Popping it open the woman leaned forward, flipping through whatever was stacked inside it. She stopped only for a brief moment to cast a harsh, inspecting eye on the girl, as if calculating something before returning to her search. Apparently whatever it was she had to know was something she knew the girl wouldn't even know about.
While Eis Hexe busied herself, Basilisk took it upon himself to converse with the girl. He didn't move from where he stood but only turned his head to keep an eye on her. "What brings you here other than joining our club, Samantha? Normally it takes more than a hello for someone to come here so...willingly."

"Well I don't see why, Helga said she felt compelled to take care of me. And you seem nice too. So I don't see any reason why no one would want to come here at all. Unless. . .some of the others aren't so nice?"
Eis Hexe had mentioned there had been some tensions between members, making her curious about what type of people it took in this group to create tension. Were they rather powerful sorcerrers? After all Helga seemed like some type of mystical person with power over ice. That thought alone made the Green-haired girl realize she might want to give this 'snake' a gift out of kindness due to how kind he was being right now.
"Might you want a present Basilisk?"

Basilisk cast a quick look at Eis, one that said, 'what the--what she born yesterday?'
"No, today actually."
He looked back to the girl with a raised brow, "I suppose so, yes." he answered, though it sounded a lot more like a question. One thing was clear though - he was amused.

"Mmkay~! This is the one of the only tricks I know so far though. . .so bear with me."
Samantha replied before flcking her sleeve almost effortlessly. Out from the baggy article of clothing came three beautiful white magnolias that were caught expertly in her hand. Not ashamed of being special after meeting Eis Hexe, she bravely presented the white flowers to Balthasaar. The girl wore a hopeful expression, in hoping that he liked the gift. But in case he did not, the girl ould likely present him with any flora the man might desire to have.
"There!"
