[glow=blue,2,300]The Timekeeper of London. Inside contains the constantly grinding gears, ladders, and multiple platforms. You can look out on the city from the rooftop, or from the small openings in the face. The loud ticking a remider of how fast time passes. No Fighting is Allowed.[/glow]

Within the the Timekeeper of London, among the constantly grinding gears, a magical display took place. A secret room which had been hidden within the strcture since it's construction came to life as it had been activated from another location hundreds of miles away. Various gears began to turn faster as other portions were re-aligned into an unknown configuration. Wild amounts of electricity shot through the historical structure as the hands turned at a rate which bordered on dangerous. At that exact moment a 'ripple' passed outward from the structure that blanketed the entire city, stopping time utterly in that part of; if not the entire world. It was then a flash of light occured that illuminated the entire inside of the structure.
But then it all stopped as two figures were deposited inside the landmark.
Once they had arrived everything went back to normal as things went back 'on-time'. The hands of the clock were even exactly where they should be at this present hour. But what had this mystical event brought? At least one of the two figures rose up from the floor where he had landed in a crouched position. Swathed in the darkness of his own clothing was a youth with a complexion pale as parafin wax & an unearthly beauty.
His eyes swept over the surroundings with a gaze that seemed somewhat uconcerned, two eyes that might feel like dark crystals to anyone that gazed too long into their soul-devouring depths. Without giving any such glance to the other which had arrived with him, he began to walk toward what was undeniably the face of the clocktower. As if those eyes could see through the thick & old glass. . . this strangely haunting young man looked directly at it.

The shorter figure beside the one in black wavered a bit as if they were dizzy or struck with motion sickness. Which really might have been the case. The Kirin hadn't ever taken a ride like that before.
A hand reached up to adjust their scuffed glasses, pushing them further up the thin bridge of their nose.
"So." he muttered, breaking the silence. "Is this..." The Kirin paused, unsure of what exactly to say. Was it what the Half Breed wanted? Needed?
"...the beginning?"
Surely it wasn't the end.

The young man didn't respond for a short while.
"It has already begun. We need to get going right now."
He replied before heading toward the doorway which led to the outside of the clockface. Within a minute or so he had reached the doorway which led to a dead end for anything human. But this particular young man, wasn't exactly a man. Even from birth it had been clear another bloodline flowed within him underlying the warm human blood of compassion. It was the cold blackblood of crystal from his own father, the blood which made him much more than just human.
This time, he would not allow failure.
Adrian leaped outward from the Clocktower.

". . ." The halfbreed's compatriot didn't respond but merely shifted his gaze down to the floor. He chewed on his bottom lip in slight nervousness before raising his head back up again. By then his Master was gone.
He had no choice but to follow.
Once more, the Clocktower was empty.

Once again, the Clocktower had occupants.
Adrian had arrived as close to the building as possible on horseback before dismounting. But then it came time to reveal that the horse wasn't exactly a horse. The Traveller had become a giant bat to transport Luka up into Big Ben from the skies into a passage he had found some time ago. Liam likely transformed & entered the gigantic timekeeper in his own fashion. Soon enough the group of three was inside Adrian's sanctuary. . . which had likely been somehow rented out through exclusive privelaging.
First came a somewhat summarized. . . or rather abridged version of how the Half-breed & Black Kirin came to be partners. One might say he tried to leave out the fact he had to wash his clothing to make Kirin able to be near him. But it was expected with how many monsters Adrian had killed, for his clothing to reek of blood. Afterward an explanation of a few encounters with the RKO were told with a knack for detail. Except for the part where a certain Shapeshifter forced a kiss on him. That sort of thing could definately be left out. . .it was far from a pleasant memory for the Half-breed.
Would she think him a failure for not actually bringing an end to any of those within the RKO? Might surviving be enough? Though to be fair. . . he was up against rather powerful opponents.

Liam had chose his normal form to enter with. He sat near the corner a little in the shadows, his face turned in a different direction than his Master and his companion. Although he only nodded a few times he said nothing else. His eyes would occassionally flick in their direction, but whenever he did, something that appeared to be a very light blush would creep across his nose and cheeks and he would avert his gaze again.
As for Luka, she gave her full attention to the tale, nodding a few times but refraining from asking any questions until she was sure he was finished.
"The Rosenkreutz Orden..." she said quietly to herself. Something told her she'd heard that name before. . .
"So it's their fault then...sounds dangerous." Luka brought her gaze up from the floor. "Are you...really alright?" She fidgited slightly. "You looked pretty different. I almost didn't recognize you."

"I'm fine now. . . but for the longest time I had to hope nothing happened to you. The wires of that puppetmaster went into my mind, trying to induce madness in me. Sometimes it felt as though Liam was the only ally I had left aside from a few others . ."
But those others were family, ones he could not afford to let get too mixed up in all of this mess. It had become far too dangerous considering how diluted their bloodline had started to become lately. He replied after a few moments of silence, remembering the comparatively small period of his lifetime which had just ended. What would happen to him if she truly were lost? That thought felt a tad unsettling in a psyche which had become more Human than it had been for sometime. Just one more positive change which could easily be attributed to being together with Luka once more.
". . .We're together again. 'Tis all that matters now. I feel they are somewhat afraid of us both fighting against them at once. Had I realized it before I went off, I would not have left you."

The girl had been glancing over at the Kirin a couple times now but he always seemed disinterested or thinking busily about something. She was glad that he finally looked over. Luka caught his eye and smiled at him. "Thank you." she said, "For helping Adrian...If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask!" She clapped her hands together, "I really don't know what else I can say!"
Liam blinked a few times, his mouth opening and closing as he tried to stammer some sort of reply. The only thing he managed to do in return was blush heavily. "Er, well...seeing you is enough, I suppose." He glanced at Adrian. "That was our deal, anyway...originally."

". . . . . ."
Something must've occured to the Half-breed then as he turned away from them both, his cloak obstructing the view of what he was scheming. It sounded as though he were rumaging through his belongings that dwelt in the black void his outfit created with shadows. Moments went by, revealing just how much he must've had hidden away on his person. Yet soon enough whatever he had been searching for was found.
"In honor of your unwavering services. . ."
With a flourish of his cloak Adrian turned, tossing some small item toward the Kirin. No doubt Liam was agile enough to catch a direct toss toward him. Upon examining what it was. . . he would find it was a pack of his favorite cigarette brand. Apparently the dashing youth had been listening during one of the occassinal rants about needing a cigarette. Not to mention it came with a lighter inside the pack. Just when had he secretly purchased these for his loyal partner? No man could say.
". . .Consider our deal fullfilled."

The Kirin caught it and looked at the pack, gripping it firmly. "Does this mean you don't need me anymore?" he asked straightaway. Perhaps Liam thought he could ask such a straightforward question and expect a straight answer back. Something was obviously different about the halfbreed. VERY DIFFERENT.

"They could still use you to get to me."
He replied with an emotionless tone, one he had still used to this moment, except for a few moments when speaking to Luka. Liam had certainly noticed how she could pull emotions out from this normally stoic man. But as though a switch were being hit, everytime he spoke to another he turned back into the stoic Adrian many knew him as. . .even his descendants.

"I see..." he replied quietly. He looked down at the pack resting in his lap. "What shall I do then, Master?" For some reason, the once opinionated Kirin seemed to become aimless and unsure.
Perhaps there was something he feared.

"Fight with us until they are all gone. Only then can any of those involved know peace."
He replied with his tone sounding somewhat gloomy, yet it still held the underlying strength of his iron will.

"Hrmmn...." the Kirin murmured, his shoulders sinking slightly. Apparently something else bothered him as well. It was obvious that he was struggling to find the words, but before he could voice them, Luka cut in.
"Oh shush! Stop making it sound so scary! Like you said, we're going to do it together, right?"
"Although," she muttered, placing a finger to her lip. "What are they after, exactly? To go to all this trouble...To me...it almost just sounds like a game."
